Thirlmere from Steel Fell (SS-03219)

Steel Fell lies at the southern end of Thirlmere and commands superb views over the Thirlmere reservoir and the valley. Parking at the National Trust car park at the southern end of Thirlmere allows easy access to the footpaths which skirt both to the east and to the west of Steel Fell. Either of these footpaths, although steep ascents in places, give access to this superb view of Thirlmere.
