The Northern fells from Hawse End (SS-03096)

Having first done the walk from Hawse End to Grange along the lake side path in the rain a few months ago with Lianne, I wanted to get back to capture some of the superb views that we saw along the water's edge in better weather. The perfect opportunity was whilst camping at Castlerigg Farm which, at 5am, is only a 10 minute drive to the empty parking areas at the foot of Skelgill Bank on the road to Grange.
This photograph was taken from Victoria Bay and looks north to the Skiddaw range, Keswick and Blencathra.
