Crummock Water, early morning rowing boats. Ref. SS-02977

Crawling out of my tent at 4.30am to get on to Buttermere before the sun rose, only to find the water surface far from still and the light flat I decided to re-pack my gear and head off to Crummock Water. Arriving there shortly after sunrise with the sun shining on Mellbreak and Scales and the water very calm, this photo of the boats was a must.

Date taken 5 August 2009.
Settings: Pentax K10D with 18-55mm lens @ 21mm. Exposure 1/20th sec @ f/8.
