Brothers Water (SS-02649)

Brothers Water from Dubhow Crag. Ref. SS-02649

On the walk from Angle Tarn to Boredale Hause the land falls off dramatically to the left at Stony Rigg and from the steep sides of Dubhow Crag and Dubhow Brow, Dubhow Beck is formed. The steep sides of the Crag and of the Brow provide an ideal viewing point for Brothers Water as it nestles in the valley to the south at the base of Kirkstone Pass, separating Martindale from Patterdale.

Date taken 1 June 2009.
Settings: Pentax K10D with 18-55mm lens @ 20mm. Exposure 1/45th sec @ f/8.
