Ullswater from Hallin Fell summit (SS-02572)

The cairn at the summit of Hallin Fell at 388 m (1273 ft). Not the highest fell in Martindale by any means but its location at the head of the northern section of Ullswater overlooking the lake on two sides and also overlooking Martindale to the south gives Hallin Fell a unique viewpoint in all directions.

Settings: Pentax K10D with 18-55mm lens @ 18mm. Exposure 1/60th sec @ f/6.7.
