For those who have donned their boots and walked the fells, valleys and mountains of the English Lake District, or for those who have only witnessed its beauty from more lowly reaches, I hope that the photographs on this website bring back the memories of those enjoyable times.

As an amateur photographer and keen walker of the region, all of the photographs reflect my time spent on the fells. All of the photographs are taken with the natural light available and, as a strong believer that landscape photography should portray the scene at the time it was witnessed, none of my photographs are enhanced.

Latest walks and photographs

With the Autumn in full swing and the trees and heathers changing colour, getting back to the lakes was a must. Camping at Castlerigg Farm near Keswick from the 16th October gave the opportunity for more photography at Derwentwater, Grasmere and Rydal Water. Find out more in latest.
